KBA in the Community

At Klausner Bendler + Associates, PC, we are committed to joining with our local community and improving the lives of those in need. By working with charitable organizations that focus on community development and human services, we have had the honor of providing our time and financial support. We provide our employees paid time off to volunteer and make a difference.

Some of the organizations we are involved with are:

SOME (So Others Might Eat) is an organization which works to provide food, clothing, and health care to the poor and homeless of Washington, DC. This past December, the KBA staff spent the day preparing a meal and serving the homeless. KBA also presented SOME with a donation that enabled them to serve over 1,000 meals.

Bethesda Green is an organization dedicated to becoming an influential "model community for sustainable economic growth and living." Bethesda Green promotes environmental responsibility through education and community outreach programs for local citizens and businesses. By becoming a sponsor of Bethesda Green, KBA helped finance a project that placed recycling bins around the city of Bethesda. Working with Bethesda Green inspired KBA to take measures to expand our "go green" initiative. We are currently making strides daily to create a more environmentally conscious & friendly workplace.

Bethesda Cares, Inc. is an organization that provides a wide range of services to the area's homeless and low wage workers. Bethesda Cares coordinates with local churches to provide meals and donated clothing to those in need. KBA staff contributed their time by helping to prepare and serve lunch at Christ Lutheran Church in Bethesda, as a part of Bethesda Cares meal program.

Jewish Social Service Agency has for more than 100 years, lent a hand to those in need by reaching out and helping anyone in the Washington metropolitan area who needs assistance - regardless of their religious background, race, or ability to pay. They provide a wide range of counseling, educational and career services, in-home support, hospice and nursing care.
